About Me

I am a mechanical engineer with a strong background in mechanical design, control systems, and robotic systems integration. I hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, where my research focused on dynamic systems and advanced control strategies. There I served as a a graduate research assistant and teaching assistant in the Micro-Nano Systems Engineering and Robotics Lab, under the mentorship of Dr. Uche Wejinya.

I previously earned my Master’s degree from the same institution, conducting research in the Medical Robotics Lab on robotic systems for minimally invasive surgery under the guidance of Dr. Yue Chen (now at Georgia Tech). I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics.

Currently, I work as a Mechatronics Engineer at Hillbot, where I lead efforts in rapid prototyping, hardware development and maintenance, system identification, sensor calibration, and sim-to-real deployment for advanced mobile robotic platforms.

My professional interests are primarily focused on automation, robotics, control system design, and mechatronic systems implementation.
